Calling all chefs!

Do you or your restaurant have a particularly unique and tasty recipe based on a sustainable seafood?

If so, then we want you to come cook for us – and thousands of our best friends – at the Tortuga Music Festival on Ft. Lauderdale Beach April 13-14!

The Tortuga Music Festival is a two-day benefit concert for the world’s oceans. We’ll have 25 bands – the headliner is country music star Kenny Chesney – and we expect up to 100,000 people to attend over two days.

As a Tortuga co-host, the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation’s role is to organize and manage the Conservation Village, a concert-site gathering of organizations dedicated to marine conservation. One high-profile feature of the Village is an area where local chefs can prepare and hand out samples of dishes prepared with sustainable seafood, meaning a fish or crustacean that is not on the over-fished list.

We call it the “Green Gourmet Chef’s Cook-off.” And we want you to join us.

The first step is to email your name and the name of your restaurant to fins@guyharvey.com. We’ll also need to know a little bit about the sample you want to cook and serve.
