As 2015 ends we can take a few minutes to appreciate some of the things that we’ve done this past year. Take a look at this impressive view of the 2015 locations for sharks tracked by Guy Harvey Research Institute. If we added white and blue marlin and showed tiger sharks tracked off the east coast of Africa it would be even more impressive.

Yellow = mako sharks

Green = tiger sharks

White = hammerhead/dusky/sixgill sharks (which you can barely see near Boca Grande, FL and Bermuda)

Quite an accomplishment for the little team of scientists that Guy Harvey and Mahmood Shivji drag with them around the world.
